Fantastico Deluxe

Fantastico is a popular third party add-on that can be used to manage scripts and content management systems. Fantastico makes installing these programs very easy. To access Fantastico, click on the Fantastico Icon. A list of programs should appear on the left side.

Simply select a program and follow the steps provided to install any of the programs. The chosen application will be installed on your hosting account in minutes and the Fantastico system is designed to keep these programs updated with the newest versions.

One of the more important things to note about Fantastico is the Extras menu at the very bottom of the list. Here you can set the language, side menu appearance, email notifications and overviews.

The email notifications are useful for users who wish to be notified about recent software updates and changes made to their programs. Sometimes an update needs to be manually applied, making the alerts useful for knowing when a new patch is out. The overview is also useful because it lists all of the programs installed, their version number, and their location on your hosting account.
