HtDig Website Search Engine - Search and index your website or intranet

Click on the HtDig Search Engine icon in your control panel.

Click the 'Install ht://Dig" button. After 10 minutes the software will be installed.

The ht://Dig system is a complete world wide web indexing and searching system for a domain or intranet.

This system is not meant to replace the need for powerful internet-wide search systems like Lycos, Infoseek, Google and AltaVista.

Instead, it is meant to cover the search needs for a single company, campus, or even a particular sub section of a web site.

Note: Your site will automatically be re-indexed once a week. If you would like to re-index your site now, click the 'Re-index' link in the menu to the left. Note that re-indexing your site now will not effect or change the weekly indexing schedule.

Copy and paste the text below into any of your html pages to have a simple search tool right on your website.
