Adding Search to Your Site

WebGlipse - Free

WebGlimpse adds search capabilities to your site automatically and easily. It produces a page www.yoursite.com/search.html. Just put a link to that page wherever you would like to on your pages.
To install the Webglimpse Search Engine, click on the Search Engine option inside your Control Panel and then click on Install Search Engine. It will take approximately 10 minutes for the server to install the search engine.

After approximately 10 minutes, return to your Control Panel and click on the Search Engine option. You will now see a list of options that will enable you to manage the Webglimpse Search Engine. Each option will provide you with complete instructions for setting up and utilizing the search engine.
Once the search engine is installed, configured and indexed, it will be available for your use.
You will need to manually (using the web site creation tool of choice) create links to the WebGlimpse HTML page like this (where yourdomain.com is your domain name:

The search page will display the webglimpse logo and is not customizable to your site format.

You decide where you want the search box to appear and on which page(s).

Customize your new search engine by specifying:

which of your directories you want to include in the search

the types of files you want included

which files to exclude from searches
